“Do you love me?“
Silence.
“I don’t believe in love, I told you th…”
“That’s not what I’m asking you. Do you love me?”
Silence.
“Answer the fucking question! Do you love me?”
It was barely a nod; barely a shrug. It was not enough.
“What’s that? A yes or a no or a maybe?”
Nothing, he’s still concentrated on his outfit. He cares a lot about looking good to get into his pants, but not so much about us losing each other. How can he not see it, not feel it?
“I have to go.”
Guess so have I.
