Brian's POV

Everyone has a choice, always. Every decision you make, you always have a choice.

Everytime you let someone else chose over you – you can lose.
And losing hurts, always.

I always lost.
Alcohol, the guys, bowling, the fucks... everything was always more important than me.

But even when you know you will lose, because that seems to be your destiny... the hope is always there, that you might win - just for once.

So I told him that it’s his choice where he wanted to be. I let him choose and hoped he would understand.

But you can’t fool destiny.

"It's your choice!" I hated that scene in the show. You could clearly see the begging in Justin's face, him begging Brian without words to say "Stay!" But that one word didn't come and he left. It was achingly sad. You really know how to chose those special moments from the show and fill them with the perfect words. Hugs you, Rena ♥

Yeah you could see that Justin was just waiting for something, a sign, a word... anything. I felt so sorry for the boy here. I know most people "hate" him for cheating and lying, I just felt sorry for all the humiliating.

Nein, nicht geweint heute nacht, aber der drabble ist außergewöhnlich. Wenn Du oder Deine Autoren-Kolleginnen schreib(s)t, dann habt Ihr in meiner Vorstellung ja keine ganz neutrale Sichtmöglichkeit bzgl. Eurer Ergebnisse. Stell mir das nach einigen Gesprächen mit anderen aus der fandom so vor, dass Ihr manchmal an Stellen strauchelt, manchmal rollt es nur so, mal seid Ihr zufrieden, mal so gar nicht...Aber letztlich wißt Ihr nicht, wie es bei dem Außenstehenden ankommt, das ist ja auch immer was ganz anderes und sehr individuell. Klar spreche ich hier nur für mich, aber ein kleines Indiz dafür, dass ich nicht alleine bin mit meiner Meinung, sind die Kommentare, die Du bekommst, und Du bekommst viele, und dass, obwohl wir wissen, dass wir alle oft zu faul sind, welche zu schreiben, was an sich schon eine Sauerei ist. Jedenfalls denke ich, dass Du wirklich eine ganz besondere Autorin bist, mit einem besonderen "Blick". Ist wie bei Fotos. Wir alle können Fotos machen, nimm ne Kamera und knips. Aber dann gibt es so ein paar wenige, die machen aus der gleichen Situation, einer, die wir alle kennen, was Besonderes, und das sieht man sofort.
Darf ich fragen, ob Du schon vor der QAF fandom Erfahrungen mit dem Schreiben hattest, oder machst Du das evtl. beruflich?

Also... Drabbles schreibe ich eigentlich meist ohne Planung. Entweder wenn ich mit die Folge anschaue oder ne andere FF lese oder ein Musikvideo sehe oder sonstiges und mich einfach kurz mit der Szene beschäftige und dann PUFF ist was da. Und ich denk mir, okay, das kann funktioniert, das macht Sinn. Und dann schreib ichs.

Ähnlich ist das bei Oneshots, die sind länger, man muss halt mehr drauf achten, "In-Character" zu schreiben (wichtig für mich, daher versuch ich da sehr drauf zu achten!) und auch zu bleiben. Aber auch ein Oneshot oder Gapfiller ist normaler Weise begrenzt, sofern man nicht vorhat, die ganze Serie umzuschreiben.

Bei längeren FF's ist das natürlich bisschen anders. Da sollte man schon eine Idee haben, wo das hinführen sollte und was genau passieren sollte. Da mache ich mir Stichpunkte. Es kommt auch vor, dass ich alles wieder umschmeiße oder den POV ändere oder in die Erzählform wechsele oder so. Einfach weils dann flüssiger ist und sich besser schreiben und lesen lässt.

Aber irgendwann macht man einfach Schluss, weil man ewig was ändern könnte *lol*. Und da kann man auch leicht was verschlechtbessern!!

Ich schreibe schon lange, sehr lange. Schon lange vor QAF! Wollte/würde das gerne beruflich machen, aber was zu veröffentlichen und damit Erfolg zu haben, ist nicht so wirklich einfach.

This scene on the show is/was one of those that I could spend hours and numerous pages on analyzing. Sad is only one of the words that would come to mind. Deep is another.
