I know it's already the 12th of September... but I will never forget the Cover of the "BILD-Zeitung" twelve years ago...



And I'm still shocked every year it comes up again.
It's still unbelievable...

What strikes me the most in memory of this day, is that almost everybody remembers exactly what they were doing when they heard.

True. I know exactly what happened. And I still remember, that my husband and I were so shocked, we weren't able to talk about it for DAYS. You know, like at night in bed when you are used to talk about what happened during the day, not a word just silence.
Our first son was only 18 months old and he already talked a lot. His first sentences with four words in German actually became 'People falling out of the plane' (Leute aus Fleuzog fallen) and 'airplane falling on the house' (Fleuzog auf Haus fallen). Mind you, he never saw these news in the TV, he just picked it up from the radio and our talks. Yes, he still is very smart.
