You touched quite a few sensitive topics in this chap... @ Claire. Of course she is a bitch, we already knew that. And even when Brian's relationship to his mother was more hell than heaven, and even when he probably wouldn't have been at the funeral: when I came to the point that she told Brian about the funeral already had happened I got what the germans thanks to a well known tv figure here call "Schnappatmung". This was so so bad from her, unexcusable. @ Debbie. I have some mixed feelings about her. You wrote her very good, the same I see the canon Debbie. She has some good ways with Brian and therefore I loved her talk with Brian, it is really good. And for my mixed feelings, well, Debbie can be like a mum to Brian but she isn't all the time, IMO. Even when she means well, so for instance when she told Joan about his cancer...here in this story Brian isn't a kid anymore and Debbie knows very well about the shitty behavour of Claire when her son accused him - Debbie was there. Then I can't understand why she gave her Brian's adress without any warning...this was so thoughtless how she was in the show sometimes, too. Hmm.... @ Brian and Justin. Good idea to gave us their talk from both of their POV's. I see Justin's dissapointment and I will never understand Brian's way to not interact. I certainly can understand his needs in this situation, being alone, getting wasted etc but what made and makes me struggle like hell every time is when he fucking says not.one.word.for explanation. But the way you wrote him is just Brian and therefore I have to suck it up and struggle with my iPad. But not only do I hope, I really do believe that your Brian will think now. We are way post 513, and he has changed, and I don't believe that he will go on old ways of pain management now, not after his talk with Debbie. This is a very good chap, full of emotions. Thanks for that! Pet
