R.I.P. Sweetheart
Today my old beautiful lady "Anastasia" died. She was the last cavy from my big threesome. She was 7 years old, so yes, she was an old lady. But it's still weird to not having her here anymore. She was such a special lady.

Lately she really got old, she lost some weight and her digestion wasn't the best anymore. Two days ago I found a pus-filled something on the left side of her mouth. I had something like that before with her daughter - Cassius - and I already decided to not get Anastasia into a surgery. She was too old and too small, I wouldn't do that.
Today I went to the vet and she found another pus-filled thing on the other side and something in her stomach.
I wanted my old lady to get old in health and to die happily ... to just fall asleep. But it doesn't seem to work that way. I didn't want to extend the inevitable just to keep her alive for a few more weeks or months with medicine and/or surgery.
So I decided to let her go.
She fell asleep in my arms.
RIP my beautiful lady, I love you.
